Hank Williams III - "I'm a Long Gone Daddy" [from the timeless hank williams sr. tribute album.]
>
Liars - "They Don't Want Your Corn - They Want Your Kids" [from their new album, they were wrong so we drowned. great post-rock noise.]
All Astronauts - "Glassening" [more great NC rock. these guys are quite tasty.]
Aztec Camera - "The Crying Scene" [this didn't gel as well with the prior track as i would've liked, but i simply adore this song as well as the entire stray album.]
Olivia Tremor Control - "Courtyard" [more elephant 6 genius goodness.]
>
Dizzee Rascal - "Jezebel" [the 2003 mercury prize winner in all his glory.]
Catherine Wheel - "Black Metallic" [for paul who i know often listens during the first hour. this was a request from some time ago. this was the full, seven minute album version.]
Cake - "Ruby Sees All" [by request. by special k, who always rocks my world. as much as most of their albums sound almost identical, cake definitely has a style all their own.]
the Frames - "Rent Day Blues (live)" [from their new live album.]
>
Teenage Fanclub - "About You"
Flesh for Lulu - "Postcards from Paradise" [long live the new flesh is a great, great album.]

the Nein - "Handout" [by request. more NC rock. a really catchy song.]
Crimson Spectre - "Crimson Spectre" [on name alone these guys rock. local band. crosses the horror-punk speed of classic misfits with a socio-political tint. can't beat that.]
the Finks - "Ice Nine" [from their recent album. another winston-salem band.]
>
Camera Obscura - "Suspended from Class" [scottish rock ala belle and sebastian. good, glimmering pop.]
